Spotify, le service d’abonnement de diffusion musicale en continu le plus écouté au monde, dévoile aujourd’hui des nouvelles excitantes (et québécoises!), soit la campagne « L’année 2019 emballée »!

Cette campagne de fin d’année dévoile les artistes, albums, chansons, listes de lecture et podcasts qui ont marqué les tendances de découverte et d’écoute de plus 248 millions de personnes dans le monde en 2019.

Cette année marque la fin de la décennie et, pour la toute première fois, la campagne annuelle présente le volet « Une décennie emballée » : une rétrospective qui portera sur la meilleure musique, les podcasts, la culture et la diffusion en continu du point de vue des abonnés, des artistes et des créateurs, qui rendent l’expérience possible. Avec plus de 28 milliards d’écoutes à son actif, DRAKE est l’artiste Spotify le plus écouté de la décennie, tant au Canada qu’à l’étranger !

Les cinq artistes les plus écoutés dans le monde au cours de cette décennie sont Ed Sheeran(« Shape of You » est également la chanson le plus écoutée de la décennie), Post Malone, Ariana Grande et Eminem.

Post Malone est l’artiste le plus écouté en 2019. Avec plus de 6,5 milliards d’écoutes au monde en 2019, le rappeur-compositeur-interprète figure pour la première fois sur la liste mondiale « Une décennie emballée » par Spotify, et ce, 12 semaines seulement après avoir lancé son plus récent album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, qui est également le deuxième album le plus écouté cette année.
